This blog originated as a Senior Interest Project that the two of us worked on during the final five weeks of our Senior year in High School. Jon will be attending the University of Southern California and Mark will be heading off to Tufts University this Fall. The objective of this blog is to educate baseball fans in very simple terms and provide organized information that most major sports sites would cover.
We provide definitions of some of the most advanced statistics in baseball, including background information on each of them. As well, we offer all thirty Major League Baseball Teams' payrolls for the next three years along with each teams' average age and the composition of each team.
As the site continues to develop we will introduce different series of blogs including: analyzing the 2006-2010 payrolls of all thirty teams vs. Wins in that time, advanced statistics explained, and fantasy baseball advice.
